Davie County Beekeepers Association will hold its Third Annual
Beginner Beekeeping Short Course in March. A Saturday Apiary
Day will be held at the conclusion of classes where participants will
have the opportunity to open hives and observe honeybee
behavior first hand.
Instructor: Gregory Fariss, EAS Master Beekeeper,
owner Peaceful Valley Honey, former Apiary Inspector
(bee inspector) for Maryland Department of Agriculture.
When: Tuesdays, March 4, 11, 18, April 1 & 8
7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. (five classes)
